Hi, It’s me again,
Today has been predicted to be the nicest day of the
week so we have decided to take a day trip south to The National Bison Range. It
is about a 2 hour drive but is said to be really pretty. To get there we had to
drive half way around Flathead Lake, and wow what beautiful scenery! On our way
we came across some Bald Eagles and Osprey, below are some pictures. At the
refuge the upper drive was closed because it was just too icy for vehicles. The
refuge is a National Park set aside to protect the Bison (Buffalo) with a total
of 18,500 acres of land and was established in 1908 and is one of the oldest
wildlife refuges in the United States. While there we saw several Coyotes, a lot
of White Tail Deer and of course some Bison.
Love and Miss You,
Coffee
