Marshmallow is in Tucson, Arizona

Marshmallow arrived in Tucson to kisses from Sophie the Chihuahua.

Marshmallow visited the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and rode the Javelina statues. The museum is a 98-acre zoo, aquarium, botanical garden, natural history museum, publisher, and art gallery founded in 1952 with extensive exhibits on the Sonoran desert region.

On the way home from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Marshmallow helped us rescue this very frightened dog in traffic. She kept “Hank” company in the car on the ride home. Marshmallow is currently assisting in interviewing process for potential adopters.

A view from the top of Sentinel Peak - 2,897 ft (883 m) peak in the Tucson Mountains overlooking downtown Tucson, Arizona. In the 1910s University of Arizona students used local basalt rock to construct a 160-ft-tall block "A" on the mountain's east face, near its summit, giving the peak its other name, "A" Mountain. The peak is part of a 272-acre park, the largest natural resource park in the City of Tucson.

Marshmallow also made a stop at The University of Arizona. Founded in 1885, UA was the first university in the Arizona Territory. Her favorite photo was taken at the football stadium where the Arizona Wildcats football team plays.

Bull Tours San Francisco

Hello! Bull arrived safely in San Francisco! As well as hosting Bull, we also hosted Thanksgiving and Bull had to wait a bit before we could take him out and about.

We saw Brandon is also in San Francisco and showed you the Bay. We decided to take Bull to other places.

Here he is, with Jackie and Connor, in front of San Francisco's famous Painted Ladies. They are beautiful Victorian style homes in Alamo Square. You may recognize the houses from the TV show "Full House."

Here is Bull in Ghirardelli Square; famous San Franciscan chocolate maker

Hot fudge sundae with melted Ghirardelli chocolate. YUM!!

We also took him to Berkeley University, a state school in Northern California.

This is one of the gates entering the school.

Here is Bull, with Jackie and Connor again, visiting CalState Berkeley, a public research university. Lots of famous people graduated from Berkeley.

Bull in front of Sather Tower, the world's third tallest bell and clock tower at 307 feet. Bell and clock towers are also called campaniles. It was built in 1914.

Coconut Visits Gettysburg National Military PArk

Over Thanksgiving vacation, Coconut left Harrisonburg, VA and traveled north through the states of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland to Pennsylvania to visit Gettysburg National Military Park to see where Willa’s distant relative Colonel Joshua Chamberlain earned a Medal of Honor fighting for the Union Infantry of the 20th Maine at the battle of Little Round Top on July 2, 1863.

The state line between Pennsylvania and Maryland is also the Mason-Dixon line.

Coconut’s first stop at the Gettysburg National Battlefield was at the visitor’s center to get directions to Little Round Top and a chance to visit with President Abraham Lincoln.

Jimbo Bear in Lorton, VA

The photos show a few places I saw. I went to Gunston Hall, where George Mason lived, Police Church where George Washington lived, the horse pasture owned by the Bureau of Land Management where they auction wild burros and horses from round ups out west, Police Bay, and the Lorton's Attic Thrift shop where Cole's grandma Judy volunteers. You also see me with my new stuffed animal friends. I'm going to Ohio next!
Love, Jimbo
