Peanut

Hello.
Peanut is very thankful for his trip where he never has been before. First he visited small town in Tennessee. The weather there is nice and mild. His host family was super nice especially Olivia and Sophia. They took him to see a very elegant ballet "Nutcracker "but got busy and forgot to snap some pics. Next was windy Chicago. There Peanut spent 7 amazing days! My friend took him to see the art museum. The museum has paintings of modern artists as well as impressionists. Asian room has collection of Chinese art. Peanut was a fan of the auto show where the most expensive cars were presented. Peanut was so lucky to be photographed by his friend Saule.
He also enjoyed walking in Chicago downtown. It was breezy and cold but Peanut didn t mind because Chicago is one of the beautiful cities in the world . Thanks for reading Peanut's blog.

Snuggles is visiting Chicago

Hello Hello from the windy city, Chicago!
Time sure flies when you’re having fun! I can’t wait to tell you all about my adventures from this beautiful city. My new friends here really put me to work, what an experience! I got to see historic landmark buildings like the Marina Tower ( I thought they looked like corn on the cob!), see new buildings like the Trump Tower and even play architect for the day on a new job site. They even gave me my own hard hat to wear on the job site, that was really cool! While I was here, I got to experience a lot of different types of restaurants. The famous deep dish pizza from Uno’s was my favorite! For dessert, I got to learn how to make Nutella crepes and enjoy a warm cup of hot cocoa on a pretty snowy day. The following day I was able to enjoy the sunset down the Chicago River, it was perfect. I hope the rest of the 4th graders can experience this city like I did. Can’t wait to share the rest of my photos with you!
Heading home now, see you all soon…

Ted is in Brooklyn

Ted has been having a fun time in Brooklyn – it has been kind of gray cold weather but it is an exciting place. Brooklyn is a borough of New York City, and once was its own city.
Ted sat on a stoop.
Ted went to see the Yankees lose to the Baltimore Orioles (he cheered for the Orioles, because being from Boston area, he was cheering for the Yankees to lose!)
Ted went across the Brooklyn Bridge.
Ted is sad to leave Brooklyn but is making his way slowly home – he has one more stop… His box is getting pretty full!
We will miss Ted here in Brooklyn

Mini Munchkin is in Virginia

Carissa,

I had a quite long journey, traveling through nine states, including Canada before arriving today in Herndon, VA. I was able to make fast friends with my pet host, Loki. We played a bit before my tea time and bed time.

My new host plans to show me around a bit the next few days in Herndon and Northern, VA before sending me onto my final destination. I look forward to having new adventures!

Your friend,
Mini Munchkin

Coffee

Happy Monday Miss Lauren!
We had a busy weekend! We started by visiting the fabulous Pridham family Friday night Rich's birthday. I couldn't believe Coffee fell asleep and missed the visit! I wanted a picture so badly. Soon he will be back with you! :)
Saturday was filled with A play with Nana and GrandDad Corey in Beverly, MA to see The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. Coffee was mesmerized. Nana forgot to take a p picture. After the play it was a lunch date and shopping for Easter dresses for both Jamison and Ellie.
Sunday we spent the day outside. The weather is finally getting nice. Coffee went to the park and played in the grass, swung on the swing, went down the slide but mostly rode a bike with Jamison. He loved that the most!

After 3 hours at the park off to the grocery store for a few items and then to New Tokyo for some sushi. He loves the chopsticks. :) He drizzled his with some honey and gobbled each piece up.
(Picture #2 Coffee bear ready to chow!)
After dinner, Coffee helped make some bubble tea! He didn't know what it was but he was definitely intrigued as we cooked the colorful tapioca balls for the bottom of the glass. He slurped his up and even asked for more. Our night ended with a family movie of Harry Potter. Coffee covered his eyes when the dementures came! LoL

Have a wonderful day Lauren and friends. Coffee will be on his way home to you soon! :)
Hugs & Kisses!

Snuggles

Hey grade 4 it's me, Mr. Snuggles!
Boy oh boy have I been having a great time here in Marco Island Florida! I've been soaking up the sun....you should SEE my tan line! Gracie's family is really taking care of me down here. I have to be careful because they have 3 big dogs and a cat (she really likes me). In the morning we eat fresh Florida oranges and then spend the day on the boat or paddle boarding with the dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico! At night time I hang out at the family restaurant and watch the awesome sunset on the beach. We all wish Gracie were here to join in on the fun.

Can't wait for you to see my post card of the Island - See you soon!

Coco

Hello Arianna-

I arrived in sunny Florida yesterday! After my long journey from Texas, I had to have a long rest! All this travelling can be quite exhausting!!! I might go swimming today, although just lying by the pool is fun too! There are 3 girls who live in this house, so I am going to be very busy over the next few days, learning some new dance moves and songs..
I miss you, see you soon!

Love

Coffee

Hey there Miss Lauren...

Friday was all about some great exercise and a whole lot of giggles!
Coffee started off with Andrea and Ellie at Barnes and Nobel in Salem, NH for an iced tea and blueberry scone drizzled with honey. He sat with Ellie and they laughed and giggled. He told her how to get honey from the honey bees without getting stung. It was a very interesting conversation, I must say!
After breakfast it was off to one full hour of swimming with Miss Ellie in Salem, NH and the boys and girls club. It is great fun there. Who knew what a fish a bear could be?

From swim Andrea, Ellie and Coffee were off to do some errands around southern New Hampshire. Nothing spectacular but a trip to the bank in, post office and grocery store were important to cross off the list.
We all went home and waited for Jamison to come home from school. She brought her friend Stephanie over to play. Coffee loved dress up, dancing and making videos. It was a great Friday afternoon. At 6pm it was time for Jamison's last volleyball game of the season in Salem, NH. That bear can SLAM a ball! He kept chanting "bump, set, spike!" on the court.

A final stop of the night before bedtime was a special treat. A visit to our local Billy's Goat yogurt shop. Coffee chose salted caramel with strawberries, boba balls and oh yes! Just a drizzle of honey. He was one happy bear and gladly posed with his creation.

Still having fun with Coffee so we would like to keep him a few more days!
Have a great day Lauren! xoxo
