Vanilla Bean Goes International

Vanilla Bean hit the beach last weekend in beautiful Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico! Her host family were granted a 4-day weekend because the local rodeo is in town (school holiday for the rodeo!) and they headed south. Located just over an hour’s drive from the U.S. border, Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point) is a Mexican fishing town that caters to an ever-growing audience of beach-starved Arizona residents. From Tucson, the distance is 210 miles (about a four and a half hour drive). Puerto Peñasco is located on the small strip of land that joins the Baja California Peninsula with Mexico and is part of the Altar Desert, one of the driest and hottest of the larger Sonora Desert. Vanilla Bean enjoyed lazing on the beach, fishing from a charter boat, eating tacos and watching dolphins in the beautiful Sea of Cortez. This little bear has had a great time vacationing with Abby's cousins and is off to explore her next adventure this week. Her hosts bid you farewell and safe travels, or as they say in Mexico, "Vaya con Dios" little bear!

Beast Mode Goes to College

I have Beast Mode for a few weeks at UMass Amherst. There is a picture of him helping me study for midterms attached!  Can't wait to keep going on adventures.

Jimbo

Here are some pictures of Cole's bear Jimbo taken while in St Augustine, Florida. Cole's Nana explained to a stranger what we were doing taking pictures of Jimbo and he told us to place him on his shoulder and take his picture. A great project. Thank you for including us Cole.

Princess is Packing Her Bags

Princess Lilly is packing her bags and preparing to return home soon. The second grade students have been secretly preparing to send her off with a royal wing-ding on Monday, February 29th. Thank you for inviting us to participate in this wonderful, creative and exciting project. This leap year month has been truly enlivened by Lilly who will be greatly missed by one and all!

Caramel Goes from Florida to Colorado

Caramel had a great time visiting sunny Ft. Lauderdale, FL with his friends Dante, Rocco, and Gio! Caramel really enjoyed the beach and spending time at the boys' school!

Greetings from Steamboat Springs, CO! Jordyn was once again reunited with her bear, Caramel, when she was visiting her cousin out in the Denver area during February Break. Caramel loved all of the snow and skiing on the famous powdery snow in Steamboat!

Ross Hs Arrived Safely in North Carolina

We are writing to let you know that Ross, Louie's bear, has arrived safely in Cary, North Carolina! It looks like he had some amazing adventures already and we have lots more fun in store for him!

I think it was a little cold at his last location in New Jersey, so we plan to get him outside! And, since he loves hockey, bring him to a Carolina Hurricanes game...against the Bruins! Go Bruins!

Beast Mode

Hi Trevor and friends,
What a fun last week in Connecticut! It was super cold and then a few days later it was so warm and it even thundered. I went to more basketball and hockey games this last week. We met some of the hockey players after the game. I also went sledding with Samuel and to an indoor trampoline party! I saw some of my friends from the special needs playgroup. It's been fun with the Frey family and I'm looking forward to my next adventure.
