Vanilla Bean Tours the Tucson Gem, Mineral, & Fossil Showcase

The Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase is one of the premier gem and mineral shows in the world. Today, Vanilla Bean went shopping!! The event takes place in late January & February at approximately 50 different locations across the city. This show has been held annually since 1955 with attendees from all across the world, contributing over $110 million to the local economy! Thousands of people from all walks of life come to gawk at gold, oooh over opals, and dig dinosaur fossils. This little bear was interested in the authentic crafts, beads, and turquoise stones.
