Nevada

Well friends,
    We're getting closer to our final destination, which is the San Francisco area of CA and here I am in the neat state of Nevada. There's a lot of dry desert type areas as well as mountain type areas, too. There isn't a whole lot of green to be seen in these parts but I think it's cool just the same. 

    Out here, there are a lot of Native American Indian tribes, which I just love the history of AND the fun sounding names of a lot of the towns that derive from the Indian languages. One popular thing that some tribes have on their reservations are what's called casinos. 

Many casinos are advertised with bright flashy lights and colors. They often have fun shows and concerts, fancy hotels and restaurants & big shopping malls right inside some, too! Lots of tourists like to visit and they spend a lot of money while there, so it's a great way for the Indian reservations to generate money, which is nice.

    Oh and we saw some really awesome clouds over Reno, NV called lenticular clouds...they looked like spaceships hovering overhead, I loved them! I sure have seen a lot on my trucking adventures. :)
