We wanted to write you a note to say that Albert has been spending the last
several weeks in Carthage, Mo. He arrived just in time to help us with a remodel
job on our house. He has been a great deal of help so he stayed a little longer
than we anticipated! On a positive note he has learned to put in new flooring,
lighting and has some painting experience too.
Carthage is a great little town in Southwest Missouri. It is very beautiful
here; especially in the Autumn. I have included a picture of Albert with Faron
in front of our Historic County Court House.
Carthage has an interesting history. If you enjoy learning about the Civil
War you should research the Battle of Carthage. We mentioned it in Albert's
journal.
Albert will be leaving Carthage tomorrow and is headed for Snyder, TX. I
hope he has fun there!
