Teddy Tortaleenie Nutstar is in Florida

I have been visiting some friend's of Bode's mom down here in Ft Lauderdale. Florida. Ft Lauderdale is a little north of Miami Beach so we went there for dinner one night too. They have shown me a real good time! After being in Breckenridge, Colorado and Anchorage, Alaska, it was nice to warm up and sit by the pool. Then Gabby & Becca took me with them to see a Maroon 5 concert! They are my favorite band. They sang all my favorite songs including Sugar and Animals. Here are some pictures of me at the pool and the concert.

So much fun. Next I am off to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania!

Love,

Cuddles Visits Historical Sites around Tucson

I sure love Tucson! Yesterday it was rainy and today we have all of these really neat clouds because of it! They are a beautiful backdrop to some of the historical sites we visited today.

San Xavier Mission del Bac is the oldest European structure in Arizona. Do you see anything missing?

Can you guess which side has been restored?

I met a funny new ground squirrel friend too!

It's very quiet and peaceful here.

Later today we get to visit the downtown area and see other cool things! See you all soon!

Caramel is Visiting in Minnesota

Hi.
Caramel has been visiting with Elsa's cousin Josh here in Minnesota. Josh is 4 years old and lives in Burnsville, which is just south of the Twin Cities. Josh has really enjoyed Caramel's visit. Here are a few pictures of Josh and Caramel in their adventures.

The first is at the Mall of America.

The second is at the Minnesota Zoo with Josh's friend Zoe.

The last is at the Minnesota Science Museum in St Paul.

I am sure we will have a few more photos of their adventures before we send Caramel to her next destination.
Enjoy!
Jean Young (Josh's mom)

Hiking the Sabino Canyon

Even though the desert is very dry, there are mountains that surround Tucson. I met a forest ranger and her friends, Lenny the Mountain Lion and Parker the Pack Rat. Do you know who the bear is?

The forest ranger told me about a really cool club called Junior Forest Ranger...heard of it?

Cuddles Checks Out Some Cool Rocks

One really neat thing about Arizona is that there are many beautiful rocks there! There are SO many rocks that are unique that there is a whole festival called the Gem & Mineral show. Look at the pretty ones I took pics with!

There are shops everything that will let you dig up your own!

The green looks like moss but it's actually the product of chemistry!

Cuddles AZ Adventure #2

Neighborhoods are filled beautiful colorful murals. Some are tile mosaic (someone used tiles to create a pattern!) and some are hand-painted.

Megan took me all over the downtown Tucson area to learn all about how culturally diverse her city is. I can't believe how colorful everything is! People even paint their houses funny colors.

These are called 'adobe' houses and someone made these with mud and straw only!

Cuddles Lands in AZ

I've  landed in sunny Tucson, AZ. It is so warm here! Megan is taking care of me this week and she's pretty fun! Everyone has these funny looking plants in their yards called cactus! They need very little water to survive, but they can poke you! Ouch!

Driving to my new vacation home was so fun! The desert sure is pretty.

It was fun taking a selfie!

Kenny's Florida Adventure

At spin class with Aunt Tina. This is how I spent my first morning here in Ft. Lauderdale. It was fun, especially when I did not have to peddle!

went to work with Uncle Alberto at the golf  course. He let me try my hand at golf, I was pretty good.  I must get my athleticism  from Sean. I even drove the golf cart

I made a friend while working with Nicky at the gym.

I helped in  coaching water polo with Nicky at the olympic pool. Nicky is my cousin Juan's Fiance' and she coaches both the girls and the boys.  I leaned a lot about the game and would really like to play when the weather gets better at home.

in Tina's convertible. She always made me wear my seatbelt, but I could see out anyway.

I love to go shopping with my aunt, she has me spoiled, I can pick any thing I want at the supermarket Plus it is so much fun to ride in the cart that looks like a race car.

My cousin Francesca came to visit.  She helped me try out my new dolphin helmet.  Aunt Tina showed me Sun Life Stadium where the Dolphins play.

We went to the Florida Keys today.  We had to deliver a new TV to their renters in Key Colony Beach, the old one broke.
So off we went, what a ride!!  We went over a bridge 7 miles long, I could not believe it, The Atlantic Ocean on my left, and the Gulf of Mexico on my right!
We stopped in Marathon at the Turtle Hospital . The doctors and people there rescue sick and injured Sea Turtles, rehabilitate them and send them back into the beautiful Florida Keys
waters.   Really cool.  I even got to see the ambulance that they use to rescue the sick turtles  that have come ashore.  While we were in Key Colony I got a quick ride on this awesome boat that belongs to my aunts friend.

After all that excitement t we headed back North to Key Largo, that is where my Aunt Mimi is.  Our plan was to have a sleep over, and to have some more fun.  We went out for a walk down to water and it was very windy
and a bit chilly so Aunt Mimi held on to me tight.  Then they took me to dinner at The Big Chill.  The owner is a famous football coach, Jimmy Johnson.  He won two Super Bowl championships with the Cowboys and also college championship with the Miami Hurricanes.  Pretty cool being in his place because of how much Sean and I love football.
Mimi had some friends there that she introduced me to.  One of them was the singer, Jimmy Ray, he is very good.  He asked me if I would like to sing something with him.  I was very shy at first but then decided why not.   He asked me what song I would like to sing with him and I said "Animals by Maroon 5 " 'cause I know Sean loves that song and he taught it to me. Turns out I am a pretty good singer!!

on the ambulance at the turtle hospital.

On Sunday we just decided to chill out.  It has been an exciting and fun packed days so just sitting back felt good.  It is still a bit chilly according to the Florida people.  It was sixty degrees, and they light the chiminea.  If they only knew what cold was!  Anway,  it was a great day to relax by the pool and under the Tiki. I have a long ride tomorrow to Seattle for a visit with my Aunt Jen her husband Mark and my cousins, Elliot and Arlean.

Everybody said that they are going to miss me and that they loved having me here.  I am off to Seattle, they must love me because
I am going first class, they really don't want to get lost.
had only one problem and that is my glasses. They broke one night as I was being put to bed.  Nicky fixed them.  They broke again going fast on the
golf cart, again Nicky fixed them.  The last time they broke we did not have any luck putting them back together again.  I got some contact lenses, and when I get to Seattle I think that Elliot can probably fix me up with some like I had.  Anyway, I am off!
I miss you Sean.

Cuddles Final Adventure in San Diego

Well... I'm a little bit sad. My time has come to leave San Diego. But I am excited I get to see my new friend Megan again. I met her on the Queen Mary last weekend.

So here are some more photos of my latest adventures.

We started my last day here at Balboa Park:
Here I am below the Museum of Man clock tower -

We stopped by the Museum of Art -

Friday the 13th - WOOO! It wasn't scary at all. We went for a walk at the bay. It was another gorgeous 80+ degree day!

(you can barely see me)

Here I am outside the Old Globe theatre -

This is an artists bench at Spanish Village.  This is where many artists congregate and make and sell their wares.

These are the stepping stones all along the Village.  When my hostess was a little girl she said she would come here with her Sister and they would play games.  Like you can only jump to a purple square!!

We went to the fountain.  Unfortunately it was off.  But someone had placed these hand painted stones and cards all along the fountain!!

The architecture around Balboa Park is amazing!

This is a very old tree.  When my hostess, Miss Carol was little you were allowed to climb on it.  Now it is all fenced off.

Can you see me?

Here we are outside the botanical gardens.  There is a large reflecting pond in front of it.  These nice people were tending to the gardens.

This is the carousel.  When Miss Carol was little, her Mother was going to university getting her Masters degree and she would bring Carol and her Sister Kathy every weekend.  They would ride the Carousel for HOURS.  There were gold rings, that is if you got them, you got to ride for free.  They were pros!!

It's a shame the Carousel wasn't open, I would have loved to see it in action!

Here is a picture of the fountain.  You can see some of the stones.  It is very pretty when it is on (or so I am told).

Here is another picture of the fountain and these neat Valentine stones!

This is a picture of the Reuben H Fleet space center.

This is the World Famous San Diego Zoo!!

Finally, we just realized that I didn't have a picture with my Hostess, Miss Carol.  So here we are.  But I am a bit sad.  As we write this final blog entry I am on my way to my next destination.  Arizona!!  I get to see Megan again - yeah!

I miss you Jordan.  My hope is that, maybe in the summer, we can come back and retrace my steps.  Let's ask Mama if we can come back?!?!
