Snowflake in San Antonio

Whew!  I made it to San Antonio, TX this past Friday, Aprl 24th.  I know I'm past my return date to school but I hope to be on my way there Monday.
While in Texas I did many activities!

A visit to San Antonio isn't complete unless a bear has eaten at Whataburger!!!!  Mmmmm French Fries!

I rode rides at Fiesta Texas on a beautiful sunny day!
Running on a treadmill made me so thirsty that I tried to get a drink from a machine and instead ended up getting stuck in the machine.!!!!

A nice person rescued me from the drink machine so that I was able to cool off by floating in a pool.
Guess what I got to do next???  I got to meet Yoko the chicken and her chicken handler! Now that was exciting!!

Thank you Jan Dunlap for helping me have fun in San Antonio!!

Blue

Greetings Team Murphy,

I finally got to travel with Mia during April vacation. We went to Dallas Fort Worth to see the NCAA gymnastics championships. There were 2 gymnasts from Massachusetts who are on the team for University of Utah. They were all amazing athletes to watch. We got to visit the stockyard which is now a tourist area but it used to be a place where people would buy and sell cattle. Mia and her dad got to ride a bull. I got to take the picture. (Well it's not a real bull but it sure looks real). We had such a fun time. I really like Texas.

Here are a few pictures including Mia and I in the cockpit with the pilot on our way back to Boston.

Team Murphy,

I've been so busy traveling I haven't had time to send you my pictures, so sorry.  I've been very busy traveling to some amazing places.

First I went to Aruba with Mia's Mom & Dad.  It was so beautiful.  Arbua's nickname is "One Happy Island".  Aruba is a small island in the Caribbean which is still part of the Dutch colony.  Aruba is a democratic state which means it still holds it's own election however everything except for decisions on defense and international affairs are still decided by the Dutch.  Most people in Aruba speak English and most are fluent in Dutch and many speak Spanish.  The official language of the island is called Papiamento.

We got to see some beautiful beaches and we went on a jeep tour to see rock formations, a beautiful lighthouse, volcanic rock and a the ruins from a gold mine from the 1800's.
In this picture we were visiting the Alto Vista Chapel.  The children from the only elementary school on the island were also visiting in honor of Aruba Day which is celebrated each year on March 18th.  I also won big at BINGO.  And of course got plenty of sunshine by the pool.  I must admit Aruba is "One Happy Island".

"Pasa un bon dia" which means "Have a good day!"

Bubbles

Just few more pictures here as we pack up to go home to Topsfield .   This is me at a very modern ballet.  The costumes were wild! and the drumming had me doing one huge happy dance.

Well I will sure miss these swing chairs.  Every night we watch the sunset and look for the green flash to make a wish.  The dogs make wishes, too.

Bubbles here.  Sundays will not be the same without Aunty PJ's  red 'gravy' and meatballs and raviolis. But--- I learned how to make this myself !! woo hoo !!

Okay, new excitement.  Heard some awesome lute music in Little Saigon, or Westminster, Ca  It was very soothing.

Aunty dragged me to a museum.  I wanted to go to Lego Land.  Well, it was much better than I thought !  JMW  Turner had a big painting exhibit, but so did the Vikings !!   Now we are talking.  Boats, costumes, and even weapons.
Bubbles went to a private staircase and hit a tide pool for a secret cove swim, here in Laguna Beach.   He swam like a champ, and promises to come back soon.
