Coconut Meets an All-America Basketball Player

On Friday December 4th Coconut went to Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, VA to meet Senior Forward Jessica Rheinheimer one of the best Division III Women’s Basketball players in the country (D3hoops.com Preseason All-America First Team and HERO Sports Preseason All-America First Team). Last year Jess became only the second junior to win the prestigious Jostens Award pictured below with Coconut and Willa’s aunt.

This week it was announced that Jess is a finalist for the Allstate WBCA Good Works Team® and if she wins she gets to go to the Division I Women’s Final Four. Jess was happy to meet Coconut, but she really wanted all of you to meet the very special people in her life that have helped her to be successful on the basketball court…her coaches and teammates. The Lady Royals are currently 5-2 and have participated in the past three NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Tournaments.
