Dr. James Bearington Went to the Sikorsky Aircraft Headquarters

Hello, my name is Allison.  Avery’s bear, Dr. James Bearington, visited with me at work this week and here is his update:

Dr. James Bearington visited the Sikorsky Aircraft Commercial headquarters this week in Coatesville, PA and he had a busy week! He started his week by taking a ride in the fire rescue truck and doing pre-flight checks with the pilots and flight crew. Then he flew in two helicopters: an S-300 and an S-92. The S-300 holds two passengers (and one bear) and the S-92 can hold 19 passengers (and one bear). Dr. Bearington went up 3500 feet in his flight in the S-92! The S-92 is the same type of helicopter that the President of the United States travels in when he travels, and that helicopter is made at the same facility where Dr. Bearington visited- pretty cool! Before he left, the pilots gave him some cool souvenirs and he packed them away in his box. Dr. Bearington heads out to his next adventure and we can’t wait to see all the cool things he does in Nashville!
