Margaret's Princess Lilly viewing the sunrise over the Intercoastal Waterway in Edgewater, FL. The Intercoastal Waterway was the primary means of transportation when the Edgewater was being developed. The land was purchased from the Spanish by Dr. John Hawks who was a MA physician and surgeon. Dr. Hawks advertised the area as "The New England village on the East Coast of FL"
