Chesnut Met Scarlett O'Hara is Georgia

Hi Abby...
We went through Georgia yesterday. What a State. It is famous for its peaches and pecans. Back in the Civil War times it was very famous for its cotton. Most big plantations grew cotton and then shipped it to a mill where they made cloth for clothing. Did you know the famous movie Gone With The Wind was about Georgia? Scarlett O'Hara was the star. (actually Vivien Leigh played Scarlett) The movie was made in 1939 but is still shown today. Scarlett is very pretty and I got to sit on her shoulder.

We met a man named Ian from Peach World. He game me some hot peach cider. It was VERY good. He also had some peach jam and some peach syrup to put on pancakes. Aunt Ellie bought some. My only complaint about Georgia is that it was cold. It was in the mid 20s and very windy. Thought the south was going to be warm. Hope Florida is warmer. Got to go and get some more warm cider.
Catch you later.
