Hi again!
We're still trucking through Kentucky. Louisville is known as the gateway to the south, so now that we're a couple hundred miles from there, I guess we're technically in the south now.
We drove through a well known Army base called Fort Knox. Have any of you heard of it? One really cool thing about it is that the base has a vault called the US Bullion Depository that houses billions of dollars worth of gold!! It is very heavily protected by the military! I was able to get a selfie with it in the background, which I have attached for you to see!
Jen's still holding out hope for bbq in Memphis, TN that is not too far out of our way to TX but it depends on getting the big rig into some place easily, but time will tell.
I get to see a little bit of Missouri today then to Arkansas where we will stop somewhere for the night.
