Howdy y'all. Murphster here in the Lonestar state. I spent my first visit working in Austin, which is the capital of TX. We then drove north to Dallas where we've been working for a couple of days now. We loaded the truck with 50 machines from a hospital that we had to lug down a few floors to the loading dock then wrap each one in special padded blankets to protect them while driving to CA & wow, what a lot of work...it took us all day long to do it.

We decided to stay at a hotel last night to get a break from the truck. The hotel had a pool & it felt warm enough to swim but we didn't have time b/c Doug wanted a good Texas steak & Jen wanted to Christmas shop, so that's what we did! Texas has a popular cuisine called TexMex & I was introduced to chips, salsa & guacamole...and I loved it!

When we were leaving the mall, there was an earthquake! It was 2.6 magnitude on the richter scale, (which isn't scary at all) and the news said it's the 10th earthquake for this area in just over a month! Isn't that strange? I'm so glad we don't have many in MA!
We should be leaving TX sometime today & I'm looking forward to some of the western scenery of the state.
