Murphster Says That Texas is Big!

Well, gang! Let me just say Texas is waaaay bigger than I thought. I did some math to figure out TX is 25x bigger than MA! It's amazing.

A few things I noticed here is that everybody is very friendly, it's pretty darn flat, there is a lot of cattle, horses & pick-up trucks here, just like ya hear about...and yes, people talk with a VERY strong southern accent, but it's cool!

We started out with a foggy morning today, but cleared beautifully. 80 mph speed limit through most of the state!

Also, I've enclosed a picture of an actual fence in El Paso, that actually is the border of US & Mexico...it's reeeeeallyyy tall but hard to tell in the picture. It was cool to see another country today :)

Oh, another odd thing about TX...because it is so flat & vast, vehicles are allowed to drive 80 mph!! The regular hwy speed limit in MA is 55 mph & 65 mph on a couple bigger hwys! 

Texas is quite picturesque! We share the road with many, many big rigs!
