Murphster Introduces Doug

I introduced Jen last week and now it's Doug's turn. Jen calls him "King of the Road" because he's a really good truck driver, has driven to every state (well of course not Hawaii & or Alaska, either) and into Canada, too. Doug has been driving for over 25 years & has made a really good living at it.

One of Doug's favorite things to do if he has time off, is to go golfing. He's lucky because when all the golf courses in the northeast are closed for the winter season, he can always find an open course on the road in the south or the west. All his truck driving friends carry their golf clubs in their trucks, too, so it's a fun way for them all to relax. Doug's truck is real fancy inside...it's like a camper inside. There is a big bed, a table w/seats, a bathroom with a shower, a nice refrigerator, stove top, oven, microwave & even a big screen tv with surround sound! Doug has satellite tv & radio in the rig, so he's riding & resting in style. There's even a door to go in & out of in the back and Doug & Jen love to relax with with warm air coming in through the screen door. Doug always has a small bbq grill to cook out on when they can & they keep camp chairs to sit outside, too. Jen loves cooking so they tend to eat a little healthier than fast food all the time!
Doug is loading up the truck today to start his drive back home for the holidays but Jen & I are getting a head start home because Doug might not be home until Christmas Eve...we are flying home today to be home with family before Christmas. I hope you're all excited for Christmas vacation! I'm excited to be flying today!!
